Arsenal eye up move for £27 million Barcelona right back

It has been well documented that Arsenal are looking to bring in a new right-back this summer, with Arteta seemingly unconvinced by his current options of Bellerin, Cedric and Chambers.

In fact, Fabrizio Romano has reported that Arsenal WILL sign a right back this summer.

One man we have targeted is now Barcelona Sergino Dest. Barcelona spent €26 million on the now 20 year old last summer.

He now has a market value of £27 million. According to Sport, Arsenal are looking to capitalise on Barcelona’s desperate need to raise funds by making an offer.

However, it will be a tough deal to get done as reports suggest we might face competition from Bayern. Furthermore, Dest is reportedly keen to remain at Barcelona.

If we can get this deal done it would be unreal. He is a really tidy little right back. Very young and raw, yet still quite experienced having played 30 league games for Barcelona last season. He is very attacking and great at dribbling forward. He does arguably need to imrpove defensively, but overall would be a really exciting addition. Him overlapping Saka on our right hand side would be deadly.
