Arsenal ‘keeping tabs’ on £50 million Premier League striker

Another day, another blooming transfer rumour!

At this point, I would say the more concrete links are Lokonga, Ben White, Maddison and maybe Camavinga. Until we hear from more reputable sources, all other rumours I feel like we should take with a pinch of salt.

Arsenal will reportedly dip into the market if the likes of Nketiah and Lacazette leave the club. Andre Silva and Alexander Isak are also on the list, but reports now suggest we are monitoring the situation of £50 million rated striker Dominic Calvert Lewin.

Calvert Lewin scored 21 goals in 39 games for Everton last season, form which was worthy of an England call up and a whopping price tag on his name.

This is according to The Telegraph, however it suggests we are only monitoring the situation right now.

The fact that we are interested is very believable, who wouldn’t be? Whether or not we actually sign him is another matter which we will have to just wait and see.

I think he would be a class signing. I know Isak is gaining a lot of attention for his form in the Euros so far, but getting a Premier League proven goalscorer who can do everything Lacazette can do and more would be such good business.

What do you think is the best deal Gooners? Calvert Lewin for £50 million? Isak for £60 million? Or Andre Silva for £30 million?
