Could this be the perfect Lacazette replacement??

Arsenal have reportedly opened talks with Eintracht Frankfurt for the transfer of Andre Silva, 25, as a potential replacement for Lacazette if he were to leave the Emirates this summer.

Andre Silva is currently at the Euros with Portugal, though is struggling to get game time ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo up top (understandably).

He scored a whopping 28 goals in 32 Bundesliga games last season, whilst also registering 5 assists.

We have seen players like Werner have worldies in that league and struggle in England, but in my mind anyway that can have a goal return like that is well worth bringing to the club.

Especially, considering his profile. Unlike Aubameyang and Werner, Silva is more similar to Lacazette. He is competent in the air, he likes playing with his back to goal and playing quick lay-offs and one-twos with teammates.

Plus, in my opinion, he is a perfect age. At 25, he is experienced enough to make an instant impact but still young enough to lead the line for the next few years whilst the likes of Balogun and Martinelli are phased into the first team.

However, it will not come cheap. He has a value of £40.5 million according to TransferMarkt, however, reports suggest he could be available for £34 million this summer.

What do you think about this move Gooners?
