Arsenal put £51 million midfielder on their transfer agenda

One area where Arsenal need to improve most this summer is in midfield. With last season’s midfield being statistically one of the league’s poorest, and with Guendouzi, Torreira and Xhaka all set to be sold, our midfield will need two or even three additions this summer.

One of these could be Sevilla’s Joan Jordan who, according to CaughtOffside, Arsenal have put on their transfer wishlist.

However, the deal could be really difficult to get done, with Marca reporting that Sevilla will look for around £51 million for their star man.

Jordan has undoubted qualities which would definitely help Arsenal’s midfield crisis but, considering he will be 27 come the start of next season, I can’t help but feel that better business can be done elsewhere.

If we can get Neves and Aouar for a combined £60 million, surely that is a no brainer for Arsenal.
