Arsenal open negotiations for £21 million winger

The latest player to be linked with a summer transfer move to Arsenal is Shakhtar winger, Manor Solomon.

It is thought that while Edu’s priorities lie else where, he is still keen on adding a left winger this summer to compete with the likes of Aubameyang and Martinelli on our left side.

We were first linked with the 21 year old back in the January window, but a move never materialised.

However, according to 5Sport, negotiations are now in “full swing”. It is thought that a deal could be done at around £21 million.

I like Solomon, but I am not quite sure he is what we need. I agree that we need a left winger, but if we are to bring one in it needs to be a marquee signing, ideally with experience in the league. We have a number of inexperienced youngster who may be able to excel in that position one day, but what we need right now is a top class player who would come in and make an immediate impact. Someone like a Zaha, Grealish or Sterling, given that these players could all potentially be available this summer.
