Arsenal to battle Spurs and Manchester United for £13 million Ligue 1 winner

As it becomes increasingly likely that Hector Bellerin will be heading for the exit door this summer, it looks increasingly likely that Arsenal will be investing on a worthy replacement for our right back spot next year.

One name linked with this is now Zeki Celik, 24, of Lille. The Turkish full back has been outstanding this season and has helped his team secure the Ligue 1 title against the odds this season.

He got 4 goals and 2 assists from right back last season, but is also an excellent defender. And with just 2 years left on his contract he could be available for as little as £13 million as reported by many outlets this morning and yesterday.

However, even if he comes cheap, he won’t come easy. It is thought that Spurs will also be looking at Celik to replace Serge Aurier, and Manchester United might also be interested in him.

I really rate Celik and believe he would be a solid replacement for Bellerin. However, if the interest of other clubs drives the price up too much, I think there could be better options out there.
