Arsenal will have to pay “more than €60 million” to sign this transfer target!

With Hector Bellerin looking likely to depart this summer and Arsenal in real need of a right back who can match the output that Kieran Tierney gives us down our left, attentions have been turned to Europe.

With Conte leaving Inter Milan, it is thought that the Italian giants are set for a huge summer clearout to balance their books.

One star heavily linked with a move away is Achraf Hakimi. The young right back is clearly an impressive talent. His attacking output is perhaps the best of any right back in Europe, and at just 22 years of age he already has experience with Real Madrid, Dortmund and Inter.

However, Fabrizio Romano has confirmed on twitter that the Arsenal target would cost around €60 million. In fact, on Twitter Romano said that Inter would demand more than that figure to sell Hakimi.

PSG are interested in the player and have started talks, but are yet to reach an agreement.

It is a huge blow for Arsenal who had been linked with Hakimi. But it seems unlikely now, given the fact that we would not only have to spend that much, but also because we would have to compete with PSG for his signature.

I’m a huge fan of Hakimi, but Arsenal are in no position to be spending €60 million on full backs; that’s the kind of business City would do. There are priorities right now at Arsenal and we should probably steer clear of this one.
