£220k per week Arsenal man is “100%” leaving this summer

Arsenal are set for a huge summer clearout in an attempt to claw their way back to the big time, and that looks set to start with a guy who only joined the club last summer.

Former Chelsea man Willian swapped Stamford Bridge for the Emirates in a 3 year deal worth a reported £220k per week, though some reports suggest it is actually closer to around £150k.

Regardless of the specifics of the salary, it is clear that the move has been an absolute flop.

Nobody had huge expectations from Willian, but at the same time nobody quite expected him to be this bad!

He has flattered to deceive all season and really frustrated Arsenal fans at times. Though, in fairness, many fans actually blame Arteta. If Willian has lost his touch then fair enough, but it has been frustrating to see Arteta continously rely on the struggling Brazilian instead of prospects like Gabriel Martinelli or Reiss Nelson.

It seems though that this summer, Willian will be one of the first names out of the door. Fabrizio Romano suggested last week that Willian would have a chance to leave Arsenal this summer. Well, in the last few days he has taken that even further and suggested that he was “100%” on his way out.

“Willian is leaving the club, I want to confirm that Willian is leaving the club. There is nothing going on with other English clubs, but he’s leaving the club, so 100 per cent, Willian is going to leave.”

This suggests not only that he could be leaving, but also that the rumours linking him with a return to Chelsea are nothing but rumours so far.

However, one club that has been linked with Willian is David Beckham’s Inter Miami.
