Thomas Partey has been ruled out of Arsenal’s Premier League trip to Leeds at the weekend with the left thigh injury he picked up in the defeat to Aston Villa last time out.
He is continuing to be assessed ahead of our midweek Europa League clash, but will definitely be unavailable on Sunday after failing to recover in time.
Meanwhile, Mo Elneny and Sead Kolasinac are both also out after testing positive for COVID-19 while on international duty for Egypt and Bosnia and Herzegovina respectively. Both men are asymptomatic, but are self-isolating according to government regulations. It is unclear whether either will be available for our Europa League fixture against Molde next week.
In other injury news, Calum Chambers is back in full training and appears to be available for selection after his ACL injury, and Pablo Mari is integrating back into full training after his ankle injury sustained in June. Gabriel Martinelli continues his rehabilitation, working in group training sessions with the aim of returning to squad sessions within the next two weeks.
