If you’re on Arsenal Twitter, you’re almost guaranteed to have heard of The AFC Bell now. For those of you that don’t know, The AFC Bell is the Twitter account that confidently claimed Partey was Arsenal-bound well before the summer of 2020. When Partey to Arsenal rumours went quiet, and it looked like the Ghanaian midfielder was going to extend his contract with Atletico Madrid, many criticised the AFC Bell. Anyway, let’s move on the AFC Bell’s latest update. He tweets in Arabic, so we’ve got the translation for you:

“Arsenal has opened communication channels with Dominik Szoboszlai’s camp recently. The talks are in their initial stages and nothing has been decided yet, but the club is impressed and is targeting the player’s profile. More details tomorrow evening.”

We first profiled Dominik Szoboszlai in an article last month about positions we need to strengthen in the upcoming window. Check it out here.

And definitely stay tuned for more from the now famous AFC Bell.
