North London was painted red, this time by the Women’s Super League side as they thrashed rivals Tottenham 6-1.

Vivianne Miedema broke the all-time scoring record with her first goal, as she climbed to 50 goals in 50 games, leaving behind Nikita Parris who plays for Lyon. She wasn’t done there, as she went on to complete a first-half hat-trick and drove Arsenal to a 5-0 lead at half time.

With 52 goals in 50 games, Miedema, who is just 24, already has a legendary status in world football. She is also the leading scorer for the Netherlands national team across both men’s and women’s team with 60 goals.

Arsenal are sitting at the top of the WSL table after winning all four of the opening games. Miedema has already scored 7 goals this season. There is no stopping this ‘Dutchess’.
