Arsenal receive Tierney boost ahead of visit to Manchester

In a piece of welcome news for the Gunners, Arsenal are believed to have been successful in negotiating a deal to cut short Kieran Tierney’s 14 day quarantine period. This will mean Tierney, who has been in isolation since last Tuesday, can be available to face Manchester City at the Etihad stadium. The

Tierney and national teammate Christie were told to self-isolate for two weeks from October 6 when they were deemed close contacts of the Covid-19 positive tested Southampton’s Stuart Armstrong while the trio was together at the Scotland camp at the Oriam.

Arsenal’s Club Doctor Gary O’Driscoll has had productive talks with the Lothian Health Protection Team, the Scottish government and the SFA, which means that Arteta will have the ex-Celtic star in his plans when Arsenal travel to the Etihad tomorrow.
