Gabriel in London to finalize Arsenal move – reports

We’re hearing from France now that Gabriel is indeed in London to finalize his move. According to Telefoot Chaine, the 22-year-old Lille centre-back is now on the verge of completing a €30 million deal. The Gunners have beaten Napoli and United to the signing.

Arsenal fans have been tracking the player on social media and even deduced from an Instagram story that he looked to be in a vehicle commonly used by Arsenal to transport their new signings:

Napoli have now resigned, although Gabriel was their top target to replace Kalidou Koulibaly, who is set for an exit from the Serie A club. According to reports in Italy, Arsenal have always ‘been on the phone’ to Gabriel, who was left ‘stunned’ by manager Mikel Arteta’s ‘insistence’.
