Alexandre Lacazette is once again being monitored by Atletico Madrid, with the possibility that they have already reached out to the player, if latest reports are to be believed.
With Arsenal keeping tabs on defensive midfielder Thomas Partey (26), who has been a regular starter at Atletico for the past 3 seasons, a swap deal would not be out of the question. Partey’s current release clause is around £45 million; however, there is talk of Atletico offering him a new deal that would see that number soar above £100 million.
Let’s put aside the question of price for the moment though, and not make this a question of whether or not any cash would be involved in the swap. We want to know if you think it would be a good idea at all. Would you let Laca go to see Partey come in, or should we hold on to the Frenchman and focus our attentions on an attacking midfielder rather than a defensive one?
